On the beach bury it for the tide to move in over it, where your fishing and moving back with the tide. Refrozen bait can also be chopped up and used as a sort of ground bait. ![]() Regarding refreezing bait, I have a coarse fishing background and have fished for pike (among other species) for 30 years.
